A Museum Happy

Since 1 April 2023, the Loctudy canning museum has joined the network of happy museums by signing the Môm'art charter on the 10 rights of the little visitor which you can see in the picture on the right.

Although the museum does not yet meet all the criteria of the charter, the team is doing its utmost to develop the services that are currently missing.

THE FITTINGS DEDICATED TO CHILDREN AND THEIR (GRAND)PARENTS

Various arrangements and devices have been put in place to improve the comfort of the visit, while providing fun and respecting the rhythms of each person-e. While some activities are possible on their own, others aim to offer children and their carers a time of exchange and sharing, in line with the values advocated by the Môm'art charter

The offers of mediation accompanied for children

During school holidays, two formats led by a cultural mediator are offered for children from 3 to 10 years :

 - Multisensory storytelling tour for children between 3 and 6 years old, on Wednesday morning, from 11:00 to 12:00. The children will discover the museum through a mascot, Pola the little cat. They have to imagine themselves in the skin of this little animal to perceive, feel and hear like him the sound, sensory and auditory universe of the museum. Duration of the visit: 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Creative workshop around the world of canning (making paper cans, decorating sardines, etc.) for children between 7 and 10 years oldThursday mornings from 11:00 to 12:00.

These two services are offered only during school holidays and on prior reservation by phone (02.98.98.83.99) or by e-mail to musee.alexislegall@lotudy.fr

The price is 3€/child - 0€/accompanying adult.

An adult may accompany the child on these two formats but the presence of an accompanying adult is not mandatory.

For the time being, there are no services for 11-18 year olds. Our team is aware of the importance of developing an offer for teenagers in the years to come-e-s.
