Do you know what picot bigouden is? This technique of making pieces of lace by hand using a hook 🪡🧵 is a traditional craft that developed at the beginning of the 20th century in the Bigouden region and is now included in Brittany's inventory of intangible cultural heritage ✨

At the Musée de la conserverie 🏛️🏭 we're committed to preserving and passing on the region's heritage, so we wanted to offer users a chance to meet and create with volunteers from the Dames Picots association in Loctudy. Come and practise picot patterns with them.
