Discover the picot bigouden, the emblematic lace of our region.

This craft developed at the beginning of the 20th century, during the sardine shortage of 1902-1907, enabling families to find an alternative income to fishing. It went on to flourish, enjoying great success thanks to the finesse of its designs, achieved by using very fine corded threads.
Today, this craft is practised by enthusiasts keen to keep alive a technique that is part of Brittany's intangible heritage.
