Details of the event

🧣🪆 ~ Dolls and rags - the summer storytelling tour ~ 🪆🧣

The summer holidays are approaching for children 🏖😎 and it's almost time for the return of storytelling visits to the museum 📖🏛

For this summer's 2023 season, we're offering a new storytelling tour for your little ones 🐺👧🧒 based around the clothes of the Bigouden sardine women in connection with the theme of this summer's temporary exhibition.

Synopsis: Maïwenn is a very flirtatious Bigoudène. She's passionate about the evolution of fashion in her area and knows everything there is to know about it! She knows why children all wore the same clothes until the age of 6 👚🧒👧 and why headdresses grew like cathedrals on the heads of factory girls 🏭

Children will be able to see the outfits worn by children their own age 100 years ago, as well as the outfits worn by factory workers 🏭 They will also be able to handle textile samples to discover the different textures (silk, cotton, linen, wool, velvet, etc.) and the history of the animals 🐏🐛 associated with them.
